A small firm with an operator's experience.
Northmakers was founded by someone who runs companies, not just advises them. The systems we build for clients are the same ones we use daily in our own businesses.
We have built and operate platforms for medical equipment distribution, e-commerce, pharmacy and hospitality. We know Romanian accounting, public tenders, VAT, marketplaces and fiscal portals not from documentation, but from use.
We don't have a sales department and a delivery department. The person you speak to in the first conversation is the person who writes the specification and the code. That limits us to a few engagements at a time, and we like it that way.
How we think
The system follows the business.
We don't fit the company to the software. The software fits the way the company makes money.
Delivered means used.
A feature that isn't in production and used daily doesn't count. We measure that, not lines of code.
We say when it isn't worth it.
Sometimes the answer is "buy product X and don't call us again". We give it.
